Player of the Week - Jason McStoots, Missouri Baptist College

Columbia, Mo. –  Jason McStoots, a junior at Missouri Baptist College, has been named AMC Player of the Week after helping the Spartans to a 3-0 week.  A native of Mendota, Ill., McStoots batted .700 (7-of-10) with four doubles and two homeruns.  McStoots scored eight runs and batted-in nine runs in Missouri Baptist's three wins this week, all against NCAA III Monmouth College.

Pitcher of the Week – Jon Kars, Missouri Baptist College

Columbia, Mo. – Left-handed sophomore pitcher Jon Kars of Missouri Baptist College is the AMC Pitcher of the Week for March 18-24.  Kars was 1-0 this week, winning a one-hit shutout decision against Monmouth College.  In that contest, Kars threw six innings, striking out six batters and allowing two walks.  Missouri Baptist, the top-ranked team in Region V, improved to 19-8 overall.
