Player of the Week - Brian Dinkelman, McKendree College

Columbia, Mo. –  Brian Dinkelman, a sophomore infielder for the McKendree Bearcats, is the AMC Player of the Week in baseball for March 15-22. Dinkelman hit .444 last week, logging eight hits in 18 trips to the plate to extend his hitting streak to 14 games. In McKendree's five games last week, the Irvington, Ill. native scored eight runs, hit two doubles and knocked a home run. In addition, he tallied four RBIs and stole four bases to bring his total to 12 bags on the season.

Pitcher of the Week – Nathan Roush, Missouri Baptist University

Columbia, Mo. – The AMC Pitcher of the Week in baseball for March 15-22 is Nathan Roush from Missouri Baptist University. Roush threw nine and two-thirds innings in a 1-0 win over St. Xavier University and tallied double digits in the strikeout column, fanning ten opposing batters. For the week, Roush, who hails from Hampshire, Ill., appeared in two games and was on the mound 14 innings for the Spartans. He gave up just one run and three walks.
