Player of the Week - Pedro Perez, Missouri Baptist University

Lebanon, Ill. –  Pedro Perez of Missouri Baptist University has earned American Midwest Conference Player of the Week accolades for April 10. Perez, a senior outfielder from Vieques, Puerto Rico, batted .632 for the week with 12 hits in 19 at-bats. Perez collected two doubles, a triple, one home run and eight runs batted in with a slugging percentage of 1.000 for the Spartans. Perez also scored four runs and was a perfect 3-for-3 in stolen base attempts. For the year, Perez is hitting .485 with six home runs and 52 runs batted in.

Pitcher of the Week – Shane Graupman, Hannibal-LaGrange College

Lebanon, Ill. – Shane Graupman of Hannibal-LaGrange College has been selected as the American Midwest Conference Pitcher of the Week for April 10. Graupman, a junior from Madison, Mo., scattered six hits over
5 1/3 innings in leading the Trojans to a 6-1 victory on April 8 against McKendree College. Graupman struck out two in the contest against the No. 12-ranked Bearcats. He also pitched an inning of scoreless relief at Central Methodist University.
