Player of the Week - Joe Dickman, McKendree College

Lebanon, Ill. –  Joe Dickman of McKendree College has been chosen as the American Midwest Conference Baseball Player of the Week for March 26. Dickman, a sophomore catcher from Alhambra, Ill., helped lead the Bearcats to a perfect 3-0 record last week. He batted .500 (7-for-14) with four doubles, a home run and seven RBI. In addition, Dickman scored three runs on the week. In a doubleheader sweep of Missouri Valley College, Dickman went 5-for-9, with all five hits going for extra bases. Dickman leads the Bearcats with a .395 batting average and 34 hits on the season.

Pitcher of the Week – Jose Collazo, Missouri Baptist University

Lebanon, Ill. – Jose Collazo of Missouri Baptist University is the March 26 recipient of American Midwest Conference Pitcher of the Week honors. Collazo, a senior left-hander from Brooklyn, N.Y., shut down Monmouth College with a complete-game five-hitter. Collazo did not walk a batter and struck out 12 in a 10-0 win.
