Player of the Week - Brent McCoy, Williams Baptist College

Columbia, Mo. –  Brent McCoy, a senior first baseman for the Williams Baptist College Eagles, has been named the American Midwest Conference Player of the Week in men's baseball for the week of April 2 - 8. McCoy recorded a .364 batting average last week, belting eight hits in 22 appearances at the plate. The Walls, Miss. native totaled three doubles, seven RBIs and four stolen bases, leading his team to a 6-2 record for the week.

Pitcher of the Week – Beau Herring, Williams Baptist College

Columbia, Mo. – Beau Herring, a senior right-handed pitcher for the Williams Baptist College Eagles, has been named the American Midwest Conference Pitcher of the Week in men's baseball for the week of April 2 - 8. Herring, who hails from Cordova, Tenn., appeared in one game for the Eagles last week, pitching a no hitter in a five-inning victory over Ouachita Baptist University. He struck out two batters, while allowing just one walk.
