Player of the Week – Ryan Nettemeier, McKendree College

Columbia, Mo. - Ryan Nettemeier, a senior outfielder for McKendree College, has been named the American Midwest Conference Player of the Week in men’s baseball for the week of April 12-18. In McKendree's two outings last week, the right-handed slugger from Breese, Ill. recorded a batting average of .428. Nettemeier logged three hits in his seven trips to the plate, including one home run and four RBIs.

Pitcher of the Week – Leonel Santiago, Missouri Baptist College

Columbia, Mo. - Leonel Santiago, a junior on the Missouri Baptist College pitching staff, has been named the American Midwest Conference Pitcher of the Week in men’s baseball for the week of April 12-18. Santiago recorded his seventh win of the season on the road vs. Rockhurst College last week. The right-handed hurler from San Juan, Puerto Rico totaled seven strikeouts in the 4-2 victory, giving up only four singles and one double in seven innings.
