Player of the Week – Justin Knolhoff, McKendree College

Kirksville, MO - Justin Knolhoff, a right-handed infielder for the McKendree College Bearcats, has been named the AMC Player of the Week in men's baseball. Knolhoff led McKendree, ranked #18 in the latest NAIA poll, to a 7-1 record for the week, belting 15 hits in 29 trips to the plate. The Centralia, Ill. native totaled a batting average of .517, including three doubles, one triple and three RBIs, in addition to swiping three extra bases in four attempts.

Also nominated: Jon Carenza, William Woods University; Damon Burkhart, Missouri Baptist College.

Pitcher of the Week – Rob Morris, Missouri Baptist College

Kirksville, MO - Rob Morris, a junior from Brighton, Mo., has been named the American Midwest Conference Pitcher of the Week in men's baseball.  In a 6-2 win over conference foe Park University, Morris dominated, allowing only four hits in six innings. Versus Park, Morris struck out six batters and allowed only two earned runs and three walks.

Also nominated: John Frech, McKendree College; Zach Lamb, William Woods University.
