Men's Basketball - Jedidiah Johnson, Missouri Baptist University Missouri Baptist
University's Jedidiah Johnson is the AMC Player of the Week in men's
basketball for Feb. 15-21. Johnson, who hails from Rock Falls, Ill.,
notched 21 points in Missouri Baptist's 73-70 win over Hannibal-LaGrange
College last Thursday. He shot 64 percent from the field and 70 percent
from beyond the three-point arc, dropping in seven of his ten attempts
from long range. In addition, he passed out two assists and tallied one
steal. Women's Basketball - Kim Tennill, William Woods University
Kim Tennill, a 5-5 guard for the William
Woods University Owls, is the AMC Player of the Week in women's basketball
for Feb. 15-21. Tennill shot 44 percent in WWU's two games last week,
averaging 18 points per game. She was also 11-for-14 from the freethrow
line. In addition, the Ashland, Mo. native averaged 7.5 rebounds, 2.5
assists and 1.5 steals. |
