Player of the Week - Lyle Rakers, McKendree College [Columbia, MO]
- Lyle Rakers, a 6-1 senior guard for the McKendree College Bearcats, has
been named the American Midwest Conference Player of the Week for men's basketball for the
week of Jan. 4 - Jan. 11. In McKendree's lone outing last week, Rakers scored 22 points,
connecting on six of his nine attempts from behind the three-point arc. In addition,
Rakers, who hails from Breese, Ill., grabbed four rebounds and passed out two assists. |
