Player of the Week - Matt Laur, McKendree College

Columbia, MO - Matt Laur, a 6-11 junior center for the McKendree College Bearcats, has been named the American Midwest Conference Player of the Week in men's basketball for the week of Feb. 11-18. Laur, who hails from Kinmundy, Ill., recorded his first career triple-double in McKendree's 91-100 overtime loss to Missouri Baptist College. He totaled 19 points, 11 rebounds and 11 blocked shots. For the week, he averaged 22.5 points and 10.5 rebounds. In addition, he tallied six assists.
