Player of the Week - Amy Niebrugge, McKendree College

[Columbia, MO] - Amy Niebrugge, a 6-0 forward/center for the McKendree College Bearcats, has been named the American Midwest Conference Player of the Week in women's basketball. Niebrugge led the Bearcats to a 3-0 record last week, averaging 19.7 points and 9.7 rebounds per contest. The senior from Teutopolis, Ill. hit 27 of her 43 attempts from the field (63%) and connected on all of her five free throw attempts. In addition, Niebrugge showcased her all-around basketball skills, averaging three assists, one block and close to three steals per outing.
