Player of the Week 
Niamh Dwyer, McKendree College

Columbia, MO - Niamh Dwyer, a 5-9 freshman for the McKendree Bearcats, has been named the American Midwest Conference Player of the Week in women's basketball for the week of Dec. 3-9. In McKendree's last two victories, the 5-9 guard averaged 21.0 points per outing, including a 31-point performance vs. Olivet Nazarene University. In addition, Dwyer, who hails from Thurles, Ireland, pulled in 13 rebounds, passed out ten assists and swiped nine steals.
