- Todd Pierce, a junior forward for the University of Illinois-Springfield
Prairie Stars, is the AMC Player of the Week for Sept. 19-25. Pierce, who
is a native of Springfield, notched game-winners in both of his team's
conference wins last week. He tallied the go-ahead goal in the Prairie
Stars' 2-1 victory over McKendree and put in two scores in UIS's 4-1 win
over William Woods. |
