Women's Soccer 2005-Week 7

Player of the Week - Natalie Jameson, McKendree College

Lebanon, Ill. - Natalie Jameson, of McKendree College, has been named the American Midwest Conference Women's Soccer Player of the Week. Jameson, a junior goalkeeper from Troy, Ill., was 2-0 on the week with back-to-back shutouts against Missouri Baptist University and the University of Missouri-St. Louis. With the shutout against AMC foe Missouri Baptist, Jameson extended the team's conference shutout streak to 600 minutes and their conference winning streak to 14 games. The win also captured the 2005 AMC title for the Bearcats, marking their third straight season in doing so. She followed up that performance with a shutout win over NCAA Division-II the University of Missouri-St. Louis. Jameson made two saves in the victory, giving her 5.5 shutouts this season and 20 career shutouts. She is now in first-place on the school's all-time shutout list.
