Player of the Week - J.P. Wunder, Hannibal-LaGrange College Lebanon, Ill.
- J.P. Wunder of Hannibal-LaGrange College has been selected as the
American Midwest Conference Men's Soccer Player of the Week for Oct. 23.
Wunder, a 6-0 senior forward from Santiago, Chile, had a flair for the
dramatic in leading the Trojans to a win against McKendree that sealed
the AMC regular-season championship. Wunder scored on a bicycle kick
with 18 seconds left in regulation to break a scoreless tie and give
Hannibal-LaGrange a 1-0 victory. For the week, J.P. tallied three goals
and currently leads the AMC in scoring with 34 points.
