Women's Soccer 2006-Week 4

Player of the Week - Jenna Shellenberg, McKendree College

Lebanon, Ill. - Jenna Shellenberg of McKendree College has been named the American Midwest Conference Women's Soccer Player of the Week for September 18-24. Shellenberg, a senior forward from Troy, Ill., recorded at least two points in each of her team's three games on the week. She recorded two goals and four assists in helping her team to a 3-0 record on the week. Shellenberg had one goal against Westminster College and followed that with a three assist performance in her team's 3-1 win over Central Methodist University. In the final game of the week, Shellenberg recorded one goal and one assist in her team's 4-0 win over conference opponent William Woods University. With the win, McKendree extends their conference unbeaten streak to 15 games. McKendree is now 6-3 overall and 1-0 in the AMC.
