Player of the Week - Brian Cross, Missouri Baptist College

[Columbia, MO] - Brian Cross, goalkeeper for the Missouri Baptist College Spartans, has been named the American Midwest Conference men's soccer Player of Week. Cross has recorded 5.5 shutouts in 2000, breaking the Spartan record for career shutouts with 13. Cross has not allowed a goal since the 21st minute of the first half of the season opener. The St. Louis, Mo. native notched two key saves against penalty kicks  in double overtime vs. Culver-Stockton College.
