Player of the Week - John Ryan, Harris-Stowe State College [Columbia, MO] - John Ryan, a senior forward
for the Harris-Stowe State College Hornets, has been named the American Midwest Conference
men's soccer Player of Week for the week of Aug. 30 - Sept. 5. Ryan led the Hornets to a
2-0 record last week, kicking off the 1999 season with a 10-0 route of International
Marycrest and a 10-1 pounding of Mt. St. Clare. Ryan, a 5-11 St. Louis native, totaled
four goals and three assists in the two wins. With his goals scored for the week, Ryan
tied HSSC's school record for most goals scored in a career. |
