Player of the Week - John Hayes, William Woods University

[Columbia, MO] - John Hayes, a freshman forward for the William Woods University Owls, is the American Midwest Conference Player of the Week in men's soccer for the week ending Sept. 16. Hayes led his team to a 2-0 record last week. The Independence, Mo. native scored the game-winning goal along with a hat trick and assist against Lincoln University. In WWU's second contest of the week vs. Central Methodist College, Hayes contributed an assist on the game-winning goal in the 2-1 victory.
