Player of the Week - Rashon Bassett, Columbia College [Columbia, MO] - Rashon Bassett, a junior
forward from Columbia College, has been named the men's soccer Player of the Week for the
week of October 5, 1998. Bassett, who hails from Bethalto, Ill. scored the game-winning
goal last week in an overtime match vs. conference foe, McKendree College. The win allowed
the Cougars, currently ranked #3 in the AMC, to remain ahead of McKendree, ranked #4, in
the conference standings. |
