Player of the Week - Teddy Chaka, Park College [Columbia, MO] - Teddy Chaka, a 5-9 midfielder from
Park College, has been named the American Midwest Conference men's soccer Player of the
Week for the week of October 12, 1998. Chaka helped the Pirates remain undefeated in AMC
play last week, scoring three goals in a victory over conference foe, Missouri Baptist
College. In Park's other match last week vs. Oklahoma City University, despite a 2-5 loss
for the Pirates, Chaka still handed out the assists on both of Park's goals. Chaka is a
native of Addis Abada, Ethiopia. |
