Greg Scott, a junior goalkeeper for the William Woods University Owls, is the
American Midwest Conference Player of the Week in men's soccer for the
week ending Oct. 21, 2001. Scott had several key saves in two conference
victories this week, including a 3-1 win over Columbia College and a 4-1
victory over William Baptist College. He tallied seven saves and allowed
two goals in 180 minutes in goal. In addition, the Independence, Mo.
native contributed offensively to WWU's 2-0 week, totaling two assists. |
