Player of the Week - B.J. Latas, Harris-Stowe State College [Columbia, MO] - B.J. Latas, a
goalie for the Harris-Stowe State College Hornets, has been named the American Midwest
Conference men's soccer Player of Week for the week of Oct. 18 through Oct. 24.
Latas, who hails from Lee's Summit, Mo., recorded two shutouts last week versus AMC foes,
McKendree College and William Woods University. In 180 minutes, he faced eight shots on
goal and hauled in eight saves. Latas has proven to be a force in the net for the Hornets
throughout the AMC regular-season. In five AMC contests, Latas has yet to allow a goal. |
