Week - Luiz Del Monte, [Columbia, MO] - Luiz Del Monte, a
midfielder for the Harris-Stowe State College Hornets, has been named the American Midwest
Conference men's soccer Player of Week for the week of Oct. 25 through Oct. 31. Del
Monte led Harris-Stowe to a 2-0 record last week, including victories over Missouri
Baptist College and Robert Morris College. Versus AMC foe Missouri Baptist, Del Monte
logged three goals, on the way to a 9-1 Hornet victory. In the 3-1 win over Robert Morris,
the freshman from Sao Paulo, Brazil assisted on one of Harris-Stowe's goals. |
