Player of the Week - Shannon Roth, McKendree College Columbia, Mo. - Shannon Roth,
a freshman keeper for the McKendree College Bearcats, has
been named the American Midwest Conference Player of the Week in women's
soccer for the week ending Sept 16. In 180 minutes in goal last week, Roth
tallied 16 saves out of 17 shots on goal for the week. The lone goal
allowed by Roth was scored by the NAIA's top-ranked team, Lindenwood
University. She tallied a shutout vs. St. Ambrose University, who held a
5-1 record entering the match.
