| Player of the Week - Veruska Corigliano, Park College [Columbia, Mo.] Veruska Corigliano, a senior
forward for the Park College Pirates, has been named the women's soccer Player of the Week
for the week of September 14, 1998. Corigliano, a 5-8 native of Vicenza, Italy, racked up
three goals and one assist, leading the Pirates to a 3-1 finish for the week. She led the
charge against nationally-ranked St. Mary's College of Nebraska, scoring both goals in the
victory. In addition, Corigliano netted one goal in the win over St. Ambrose University,
handing their opponent it's first loss of the season. |
