Player of the Week - Nicole Spray, Harris-Stowe State College [Columbia, Mo.] - Nicole Spray, a
freshman wing back for the Harris-Stowe State College Hornets, has been named the women's
soccer American Midwest Conference Player of the Week for the week of Sept. 6-12. Spray, a
native of St. Louis, Mo., helped her team extend its winning streak to five games, scoring
two times in two outings. Against Central Methodist College, Spray scored the tying
goal to send the game into overtime which HSSC pulled out in the extra period, 2-1. In
addition, she scored off a corner kick vs. Avila to help secure a 6-0 Hornets victory. |
