Player of the Week - Jenny Soell, Harris-Stowe State College

[Columbia, Mo.] - Jenny Soell, a freshman forward from Harris-Stowe State College, has been named the women's soccer Player of the Week for the week of September 21, 1998. Soell, a St. Louis native, led the Hornets to a perfect 2-0 record last week, scoring four goals and racking up three assists. In Harris-Stowe's 8-1 victory over Northland College, Soell scored three of the first four goals for HSSC at the forward position. Then, she moved to the center-midfielder position where she recorded two assists. Against Benedictine College, who came into the game undefeated, Soell assisted on the first goal and scored the game winner. She then moved to the back wing position for the remainder of the game to strength Harris-Stowe's defense.
