Player of the Week - Elizabeth Beveridge, William Woods University [Columbia, Mo.] - Elizabeth Beveridge, a
sophomore goalie for the William Woods University Owls, has been named the women's soccer
American Midwest Conference Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 11 through Oct. 17.
Beveridge, who hails from Springfield, Ill., proved to be the defensive key to WWU's two
AMC victories last week. Against Hannibal-LaGrange College and Park College, Beveridge was
in the net 180 minutes and recorded eight saves and allowed only one goal. She stopped two
one-on-one situations vs. Hannibal-LaGrange to preserve a 1-0 shutout. |
