| Player of the Week - Meghan Fowler, William Woods University [Columbia, Mo.] - Meghan Fowler, a 5-8
sophomore for the William Woods University Owls, has been named the American Midwest
Conference women's soccer Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 19 - 25. In two
non-league matches last week vs. NAIA powerhouse Rockhurst College and NCAA Division II
opponent, the University of Missouri - Rolla (UMR), Fowler continued to provide WWU's
offensive punch, netting WWU's only goal for the week vs. UMR. For the season, Fowler, a
forward for the Owls, leads the WWU in scoring with 15 goals and three assists. |
