Player of the Week – Amy Seipp, Columbia College

Columbia, Mo. – Amy Seipp, a sophomore catcher for the Columbia College Cougars,  has been named the American Midwest Conference Player of the Week in women’s softball for the week of March 25 - 31. Seipp led the Cougars to a perfect 4-0 record last week in Orlando, Fla., tallying a .400 batting average with four hits in ten appearances at the plate. The O'Fallon, Mo. native scored four runs, hit one game-winning home run vs. Concordia (Neb.) University and notched three RBIs.

Pitcher of the Week – Jayne Miller, Columbia College

Columbia, Mo. – Jayne Miller, a right-handed pitcher for the Columbia Cougars, has been named the American Midwest Conference Pitcher of the Week in women’s softball for the week of March 25-31. Miller, who hails from Palmyra, Mo., pitched in one game last week, recording a shutout vs. NAIA Region IV opponent Concordia (Neb.) University. In five innings on the mound, Miller gave up just four hits and one walk, while collecting three strikeouts in Columbia's 8-0 victory.
