Player of the Week – Amy Seipp, Columbia College

Columbia, Mo. – Amy Seipp is the AMC Player of the Week in softball for March 29-April 4. Seipp, who is a native of O'Fallon, Ill., hit .593 for the Cougars last week, totaling 16 hits in 27 at-bats. She scored ten runs, leading her team to a 7-1 week. In addition, the senior catcher racked up three doubles, a triple and two home runs. She also notched two stolen bases and ten RBIs.

Pitcher of the Week – Amy Maurer, McKendree College

Columbia, Mo. – Amy Maurer, a junior hurler for the Bearcats from McKendree College, is the AMC Pitcher of the Week for March 29-April 4. The Florissant, Mo. native threw 16.1 innings in four appearances last week. She gave up zero earned runs and notched wins over No. 17 William Woods University and No. 18 St. Xavier University. Maurer allowed just nine hits, one run and three walks, while fanning 24 opposing batters.
