Player of the Week – Shauna Holcmann, McKendree College

Columbia, Mo. – McKendree College third baseman Shauna Holcmann is the AMC Player of the Week in softball for April 26-May 2. Holcmann led the Bearcats to a 4-0 record last week, knocking .429 for her team. She logged hits in six of her 14 trips to the plate, including two doubles and two grand slam home runs. The Highland, Ill. native also scored three runs and tallied nine RBI.

Pitcher of the Week – Amy Maurer, McKendree College

Columbia, Mo. – Amy Maurer, a junior hurler for the Bearcats from McKendree College, is the AMC Pitcher of the Week for April 26-May 2. Maurer, who hails from Florissant, Mo., logged two of her team's four wins last week. She threw 12 innings and recorded a 0.00 earned run average. She gave up just one run and two walks, while fanning 15 opposing batters.
