Player of the Week – Michelle Schaper,
William Woods University

Lebanon, Ill. – Michelle Schaper, a 5-1 second baseman, from William Woods University has been named the American Midwest Conference Player of the Week for April 4-10. Schaper hit .400 with two home runs and nine runs batted in with eight runs scored in helping her team to a 5-1 record on the week. She also picked up three doubles and compiled a slugging percentage of .850. Against Trinity Christian University Schaper went four-for-five with one home run and four runs batted in. She also scored four times in the game. Schaper picked up a hit in four of her team's six games as well as recording at least one RBI in four of the games. This marks the second time this season that Schaper has been named the AMC Player of the Week.

Pitcher of the Week – Monica Mueller,
Columbia College

Lebanon, Ill. – Monica Mueller, a senior pitcher, from Columbia College has been named the American Midwest Conference Pitcher of the Week for the week of April 4-10. Mueller went 2-0 on the week with a 0.00 earned-run average. Mueller threw 14.1 innings allowing just two hits and striking out 14 while walking just three in her three appearances on the week. Against No. 9 ranked William Woods University, Mueller went five innings, allowing one hit and striking out four in picking up the win. Against McKendree College Mueller went seven innings allowing only one hit while striking out 10. This marks the second consecutive week that Mueller has been named the AMC Pitcher of the Week.
