Player of the Week - Ashley Perrigo, Columbia College

Lebanon, Ill. –  Ashley Perrigo of Columbia College has been named the American Midwest Conference Player of the Week for April 3. Perrigo, a junior shortstop from Tebetts, Mo., hit .526 on the week with eight runs batted in and nine runs scored. She also helped her team to a perfect 6-0 record on the week by recording four game-winning RBI. She had a pair of three-hit games on the week, going three-for-four against Patten University and three-for-five against St. Olaf College. She also had three multiple RBI games on the week.

Pitcher of the Week – Katie McMahon, Columbia College

Lebanon, Ill. – Katie McMahon of Columbia College has been named the American Midwest Conference Pitcher of the Week for April 3. McMahon, a sophomore from Edina, Mo., was 2-0 on the week with a 0.00 earned run average and 12 strikeouts in 11 innings pitched. Against Patten University, McMahon threw a no-hitter while striking out eight. She followed that up with a two-hit performance against St. Olaf College.
