2007 Player and Pitcher of the Week Honorees

Lebanon, Ill. – Ashley Windmiller of William Woods University has been selected as the American Midwest Conference Softball Player of the Week. Windmiller, a 5-9 senior designated hitter from Salisbury, Md., batted .533 on the week with a slugging percentage of .800. She went 8-for-15 at the plate with two doubles, a triple and two RBI in leading the No. 12-ranked Owls to three victories on the week. Windmiller also drew four walks in the six games for William Woods. of the Week accolades. Baker, a 5-8 junior from Edina, Mo., won both of her
starts and allowed just two earned runs in 14 innings of work last week. She
scattered nine hits with six strikeouts in posting victories against David
N. Myers University and No. 24-ranked Ohio Dominican University. |
