Player of the Week - Christina Schoonover, Columbia College

Lebanon, Ill. –  Christina Schoonover of Columbia College has been selected as the American Midwest Conference Softball Player of the Week for March 26. Schoonover, an outfielder/third baseman from Clarence, Mo., batted .500 with two runs scored and two RBI in helping the Cougars to a doubleheader sweep of Williams Baptist College. Schoonover also had a stolen base during the twinbill as Columbia improved to 4-0 in AMC play.

Pitcher of the Week – Katie McMahon, Columbia College

Lebanon, Ill. – Katie McMahon of Columbia College is the American Midwest Conference Pitcher of the Week for March 26. McMahon, a junior from Edina, Mo., tossed a three-hit shutout in a 5-0 Columbia victory over Williams Baptist College. She struck out seven and did not walk a batter in the contest.
