Player of the Week –Alicia Davis, William Woods University

Kirksville, Mo. – Alicia Davis, a sophomore first baseman for the William Woods University Owls, has been named the American Midwest Conference Player of the Week in women’s softball. Davis slugged nine hits in 19 at-bats last week, recording a batting average of .474. Davis collected five RBIs and belted three doubles, one triple and one home run in WWU's six outings. Davis is a native of Holts Summit, Mo.

Pitcher of the Week – Andrea Sola, Park University

Kirksville, Mo. –Andrea Sola, a right-handed pitcher for the Park University Pirates, has been named the AMC Pitcher of the Week in women's softball. Sola pitched seven innings for the Pirates last week, recording a 2-0 victory over Baker University. The hurler from Independence, Mo. allowed zero earned runs and only one hit, in addition to fanning five batters and walking none.
