Player of the Week – Amy Seipp, Columbia College

Columbia, Mo. – Amy Seipp, a freshman catcher and outfielder for the Columbia College Cougars,  has been named the American Midwest Conference Player of the Week in women’s softball for the week of April 23 - 29. Seipp made eight appearances at the plate in the AMC postseason softball tournament over the weekend, notching four hits, including three doubles, one triple, three RBIs and two intentional walks. Seipp is a native of O'Fallon, Ill.

Pitcher of the Week – Lynn Otto, William Woods University

Columbia, Mo. – Lynn Otto, a junior right-handed hurler  for the William Woods University Owls, has been named the American Midwest Conference Pitcher of the Week in women’s softball for the week of April 23 - 29. Otto recorded two wins vs. Columbia College in the AMC postseason softball tournament over the weekend. In 11.2 innings on the mound, she allowed just four hits and only one earned run. In addition, the St. Elizabeth, Mo. native tallied seven strikeouts.
