Player of the Week - Endrinha Sosa, Columbia College

Columbia, MO - Endrinha Sosa, a 6'0" senior outside hitter for the Columbia Cougars, has been named the AMC Player of the Week for the week of Sept. 16-22. Sosa led Columbia to a 3-0 finish last week, averaging 3.8 kills and 3.3 digs per game. She hammered 30 kills, including 17 vs. William Woods University, while committing just nine attack errors. In addition, the Medellin, Colombia native tallied 11 blocks, two service aces and five assists. 

Also nominated: Brandi Schroeder, Missouri Baptist University; Chrissy Simones, McKendree College; Kathy Gettinger, William Woods University.

Setter of the Week- Olga Benoit, Columbia College

Columbia, MO -   For the second consecutive week, Olga Benoit, a setter for the Columbia College Cougars, has been named the league setter of the week in women's volleyball. Benoit, who hails from Medellin, Colombia, totaled 116 assists in three matches, averaging 12.9 per game. In addition, Benoit recorded 17 kills, three service aces and 22 digs. 

Also nominated: Terri Rauhut, Missouri Baptist University; Heather Roberts, William Woods University.
