Player of the Week - Endrinha Sosa, Columbia College

Columbia, MO - Endrinha Sosa, a 6-1 senior outside hitter for the Columbia Cougars, has been named the American Midwest Conference Player of the Week in volleyball for the week of Oct. 14-20. Sosa totaled 20 kills last week, including ten in each of Columbia's two league wins over McKendree College and Harris-Stowe State College. On the week, the Venezuela native converted 54 percent of her attacks to kills and totaled 21 digs.

Setter of the Week- Ashley Herzing, McKendree College

Columbia, MO -   Ashley Herzing, a senior setter of the McKendree Bearcats, has earned league setter of the week honors for the week of Oct. 14-20. Herzing, who hails from Belleville, Ill., averaged 4.7 assists per game in McKendree's six/two offense, leading the Bearcats to important Region V wins over William Woods University and Graceland University. Herzing also totaled six kills and 44 digs.
