Player of the Week - Meleisha Purcell, Missouri Baptist University

Columbia, MO - Meleisha Purcell, a 5-11 senior outside and middle hitter for the Missouri Baptist Spartans, has been named the AMC Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 21-27. Purcell averaged 2.9 kills per game last week, leading the seventh-ranked Spartans to a 4-0 finish. The Pago Pago, Samoa native talled six digs, 16 blocks and 35 kills on the week.

Setter of the Week- Terri Rauhut, Missouri Baptist University

Columbia, MO -   Terri Rauhut, a senior setter from St. Louis, has been awarded setter of the week honors for the week of Oct. 21-27. Rauhut led the Spartans to four victories last week, averaging 11.8 assists in 12 games played. She also accumulated 45 digs and seven service aces, pushing Missouri Baptist's overall record to 22-4. 

Also nominated: Olga Benoit, Columbia College.
