Player of the Week - Tracie Ford, Columbia College

Columbia, Mo. - Tracie Ford, a junior outside hitter for the Columbia Cougars, has been named the AMC Player of the Week in volleyball for Aug. 31 - Sept. 6. The Blue Springs, Mo. native led the Cougars to a title in the KMIZ/Best Western Volleyball Tournament, posting 3.9 kills and 3.5 digs per game. Ford also tallied 18 blocks in 20 games played and posted six service aces.

Setter of the Week- Katherine Weisenborn, Columbia College

Columbia, Mo. -   Katherine Weisenborn, a sophomore setter for the Columbia Cougars, is the AMC Setter of the Week for Aug. 31 - Sept. 6. Weisenborn, who hails from Quincy, Ill., recorded 169 assists in 14 games last week, leading the Cougars to a 5-1 finish. Weisenborn also notched 14 kills, two service aces and 41 digs.
