Player of the Week - Jacqueline Makokha, Columbia College

Columbia, Mo. - Jacqueline Makokha, a senior outside hitter for the Columbia Cougars, is the AMC Player of the Week for Aug. 30 - Sept. 6. Makokha led the Cougars to a perfect 6-0 week, including a 5-0 finish in the KMIZ/Best Western Classic. Makokha, who hails from Nairobi, Kenya, totaled 78 kills in 19 games, averaging 4.1 a set. In addition, she recorded 20 service aces, 93 digs and seven blocks. For her efforts, she was awarded most valuable player accolades at the two-day event.

Setter of the Week - Tracie Ford, Columbia College

Columbia, Mo. - Tracie Ford, a senior setter for the Cougars, is the AMC Setter of the Week. Ford racked up 162 assists in six wins last week, averaging nine a game. In addition, the Blue Springs, Mo. native tallied 26 digs, 40 kills and 24 blocks. For her efforts in Columbia's five-match streak in the KMIZ/Best Western Classic over the weekend, Ford was awarded all-tournament team honors.

Libero of the Week - Jenna Holdmeyer, Columbia College

Columbia, Mo. - Jenna Holdmeyer, a sophomore defensive specialist for the Columbia Cougars, is the AMC Libero of the Week. Holdmeyer, who is from Marthasville, Mo., recorded 104 pass attempts in 19 games last week, committing just nine errors. In addition, Holdmeyer posted 30 digs and nine service aces.
