Player of the Week - Tricia Winter, McKendree College

Columbia, Mo. - Tricia Winter, a junior middle hitter for the McKendree Bearcats, is the AMC Player of the Week for Sept. 12-18. Winter, who is a native of Germantown, Ill., played in 19 games last week, racking up 62 kills in 144 attempts for an average of 3.3 a set. She converted 40 percent of her attacks into kills, committing just five errors. Winter led her team defensively at the net, tallying six solo blocks and 16 assist blocks.

Setter of the Week - Megan Leonard, University of Illinois-Springfield

Columbia, Mo. - The AMC Setter of the Week for Sept. 12-18 is Megan Leonard from University of Illinois-Springfield. Leonard led her squad to a 2-1 week, playing in 12 games. She totaled 159 assists for an average of 13.3 a set. In addition, the junior from Effingham, Ill. recorded 25 digs, two service aces and four kills.
