Player of the Week - Jacqueline Makokha, Columbia College

Columbia, Mo. - Jacqueline Makokha, a senior outside hitter for the Columbia Cougars, is the AMC Player of the Week for Sept. 19-25. The Nairobi, Kenya native led Columbia to three conference wins last week, putting down 4.6 kills a game. In 77 attack attempts, she tallied 41 kills and committed just five errors. In addition, in nine games, Makokha recorded ten service aces and 55 digs.

Setter of the Week - Jessica Egelhoff, Missouri Baptist University

Columbia, Mo. - The AMC Setter of the Week for Sept. 19-25 is Jessica Egelhoff from Missouri Baptist University. Egelhoff played in eight games last week and totaled 10.1 assists per game for the Spartans. In addition, she recorded seven kills in 23 attempts. The St. Charles, Mo. native notched 26 digs, two solo blocks and 12 assist blocks.

Libero of the Week - Abby Funderburk, William Woods University

Columbia, Mo. - The Libero of the Week in the AMC for Sept. 19-25 is Abby Funderburk from William Woods University. Funderburk, who is a junior from Bridgeton, Mo., led the Owls to a 2-1 week, playing in ten games. She totaled 134 digs, averaging 13.4 a set.
