Player of the Week - Rose Obunaga, Columbia College

Lebanon, Ill. – For the second consecutive week, Columbia College's Rose Obunaga has been honored as the AMC Player of the Week. Obunaga, a 6-0 senior outside hitter from Nairobi, Kenya, totaled 36 kills in AMC victories against Harris-Stowe State University and Missouri Baptist University. She also posted two assists, 17 digs and five blocks for the week. In the Cougars' regular-season clincher against Missouri Baptist, she had 22 kills, nine digs and four blocks.

Also nominated: Ana Mercado of Missouri Baptist University and Ashlee Pyron of McKendree College.

Setter of the Week - Shannan Swiney, Missouri Baptist University

Lebanon, Ill. - Shannan Swiney of Missouri Baptist University has been named the AMC Setter of the Week for Nov. 7. This marks the second straight weekly honor for Swiney, a 6-0 junior from St. Louis, Mo. In three matches last week, Swiney collected 149 assists for an average of 13.6 per game. She also had seven kills, 20 digs, six service aces and six blocks. Swiney had two matches with more than 50 assists in earning the honor.

Libero of the Week - Jenna Holdmeyer, Columbia College

Lebanon, Ill. – Jenna Holdmeyer of Columbia College rounds out the list of repeat winners as she has earned the AMC Libero of the Week award for Nov. 7. Holdmeyer, a 5-6 senior from Mathasville, Mo., helped lead the Cougars to another AMC regular-season championship. During the week, she posted 22 digs and did not have a reception error in 24 chances. In addition, Holdmeyer had four service aces.
