Player of the Week - Rael Rotich, Columbia College

Lebanon, Ill. – Rael Rotich of Columbia College has been picked as the American Midwest Conference Player of the Week for Oct. 16. Rotich, a 6-0 sophomore outside hitter from Eldoret, Kenya, was a big factor in leading the Cougars to a 5-0 record on the week, including victories over NAIA No. 9-ranked Missouri Baptist University and No. 24 Lindenwood University. Rotich had 56 kills, and reached double-digits with 10 attacks against Missouri Baptist and 23 versus Lindenwood. Rotich also contributed 10 digs and 13 blocks with three solos.

Setter of the Week - Allison DeGroot, McKendree College

Lebanon, Ill. - Allison DeGroot of McKendree has earned AMC Setter of the Week accolades for Oct. 16. DeGroot, a 5-7 junior from Highland, Ill., handed out 128 assists in three matches last week, averaging nearly 12 assists per game. She also posted 20 kills, 31 digs, six service aces and three assisted blocks for the Bearcats. In a four-game victory against Culver-Stockton College, DeGroot notched her second triple-double of the year with 10 kills, 41 assists and 13 digs.

Libero of the Week - Jessica Williams, Columbia College

Lebanon, Ill. – The American Midwest Conference Libero of the Week for Oct. 16 is Jessica Williams of Columbia College. Williams, a 5-4 freshman from Camdenton, Mo., helped the Cougars to a 5-0 record last week by handling 46 digs and did not commit an error in 63 pass attempts. In addition, Williams had six service aces for the week. In Columbia's win over No. 24 Lindenwood University, Williams had 19 digs and handled 24 pass attempts.
