 Player of the Week - Kenny Moreno, Columbia College

Columbia, MO - Kenny Moreno, a freshman middle hitter for the Columbia College Cougars, has been named the American Midwest Conference Player of the Week in women's volleyball for the week ending Sept. 9.  In three matches vs. ranked opponents, Moreno totaled 52 kills, averaging 5.2 per game. In addition, the Medellin, Colombia native tallied 21 digs and 9.5 blocks.

Also nominated: Meleisha Purcell, Missouri Baptist College; Alicia Hutchison, William Woods University.

Setter of the Week - Olga Correa, Columbia College

Columbia, MO -   Olga Correa, a 5-9 junior setter for the Columbia College Cougars, is the American Midwest Conference Setter of the Week for the week ending Sept. 9.  Correa averaged 14.2 assists per game, collecting 142 in three matches. In addition, Correa, who hails from Medellin, Colombia, totaled 11 kills, three service aces and 16 digs.
