 Player of the Week - Kenny Moreno, Columbia College

Columbia, MO - Kenny Moreno, a freshman middle hitter for the Columbia College Cougars, has been named the American Midwest Conference Player of the Week in women's volleyball for the week ending Sept. 29, 2001.  Moreno led the top-ranked Cougars to a 2-0 week in league play, including victories over Harris-Stowe and William Woods. For the week, she totaled 19 kills, averaging 3.5 per contest. In addition, the Merida, Colombia native notched 15 service aces, including 12 against Harris-Stowe.

Setter of the Week - Terri Rauhut, Missouri Baptist College

Columbia, MO -   For the second consecutive week, Terri Rauhut, a 5-6 junior setter for Missouri Baptist College, is the American Midwest Conference Setter of the Week for the week ending Sept. 29. Rauhut led the No. 21 Spartans to a 4-1 record for the week, totaling 233 assists in 17 games.  In addition, the St. Louis, Mo. native compiled 36 digs and six service aces.
